These Kitsch Cowboy place mats make a fun decor for an informal table or picnic table. They would be great for a picnic or BBQ. The best part is that they are made from old blue jeans, so they are up cycled. You can put silverware and or napkins in the pocket. (Bandanas would be great for this.)
This is a set of four place mats that measure approximately 18.75″ x 12.25″. The front of the place mats were made by deconstructing old jeans and sewing them together in a rectangular shape. I embroidered a paisley design with royal blue and red thread in the top left corner. Then I embroidered a jean pocket and sewed them on the bottom right corner of each place mat. There is a different image on each place mat. The images are a cowboy, cowgirl, cactus, and paint pony with saddle. The backing for the place mats is a cotton bandana style motif with a red background and blue and white paisleys. The place mats are machine washable. Do not use bleach.
I use embroidery thread that is made in the USA and I purchase it from a family business in Missouri.
These would make a great gift for a house warming present. They would also be great for vintage campers.
Made and stored in a smoke free home.
