I made this card to enter Lawnfawnatics challenge #48. You were supposed to design a card based upon a movie, TV show, or book. I chose to do the Great British Bake Off. I really like the show because the judges give constructive criticism and the contestants are not professional pastry chefs (although they sure seem to be with their fancy creations). I used a standard A2 card base and cut a piece of Lawn Fawn Spring Fling Petite Pack paper (the green floral background) with my largest lawn fawn stitched rectangular die (5.5″x 4.25″). Then I cut a piece of Lawn Fawn Spiffy Speckles petite paper pack (green speckles) with the next size rectangle die. After I placed my stamps on the paper to see how to lay out the design, I embossed the sentiment on the speckled paper with mowed lawn distress ink and clear embossing powder. I adhered the paper to the top of my card with double sided tape. Next, I stamped the images with Lawn Fawn jet black ink on Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. If you color your images with alcohol based markers you need to use a stamp pad that is designed for them otherwise your stamped image will bleed as you color. You should also use paper that is specifically for alcohol markers. Since I didn’t have any people stamps (except for pirates), I decided to use a hedge hog from the Jump for Joy set and a rabbit from Yay Kites. I thought they were cute and appropriate for an English show. I used stamps from the Baked with Love set for the baking elements. Then I colored the images with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies. Next, I glued the images on the card front with Tombow Mono multi liquid glue and used foam tape to adhere the animals and the utensils they are holding. Finally, I added some Glossy Accents to the pastry bag and cupcake.
